- to present the most important methods of research in archaeology
- to present an overview of the basic themes in archaeological tourism
- to present main destinations of archaeological tourism
- to discuss the problem of commercialization of the past and impact of tourism on the archaeological record

- Principles of archaeology: survey, excavation and laboratory studies of archaeological artefacts
- Musealization and commercialization of archaeological heritage
- Aims and typology of archeological journeys
- Destinations of archaeological tourism: case studies from the Mediterranean basin
- Destinations of archaeological tourism: case studies from Poland
- Final discussion: impact of tourism on the archaeological record
