Module aim (aims)
- providing students with basic knowledge on the introductory aspects of the European Union procedural law (system of the organisation of the Union Courts, types of actions, basic rules of the procedure before the Union Courts)
Pre-requisites in terms of knowledge, skills and social competences (where relevant)
- knowledge of European Union law, civil law
- skills in reading and understanding legal acts and judgements
- knowledge of civil procedural law (recommended not obligatory)
- reasonable command of English

Week 3 The judicial organisation in the European Union – overview
Week 4 The Court of Justice of the European Union as institution of judicial protection
