Pre-requisites in terms of knowledge, skills and social competences (where relevant)

· level of English that enables to communicate and read legal texts

Week 2: Council of Europe and criminal law (part 1).
Week 3: Council of Europe and criminal law (part 2).
Week 4: EU concept for criminal policy.
Week 5: EU and substantive criminal law.
Week 6: EU and procedural criminal law.
Week 7: Criminal policy in chosen EU member states (part 1).
Week 8: Crminal policy in chosen EU member states (part 2).
Week 9: Concepts for criminal policy in Poland.
Week 10: Poland and European Convenction on Human Rights.
Week 11: Poland and EU obligations referring to criminal law.
Week 12: Evolution of substantive criminal law in Poland.
Week 13: Evolution of criminal proceeding in Poland.
Week 14: Penitentiary policy in Poland.
Week 15: New perspectives of criminal policy.
