Module aim (aims)
Students can make a news for website in three ways: (text, podcast and video) and know how to promote it.
Pre-requisites in terms of knowledge, skills and social competences (where relevant)
Students can type text using SEO proceedures, can prepare a podcast and video news using smartphone and other mobile tools, can promote it using social media.
Syllabus
Week 1: News and convergention. Definitions.
Week 2: Headline in “paper” and online text. Similars and differences.
Week 3: “Body” of the text. How to write using SEO way.
Week 4: Indyvidual discussions of projects.
Week 5: Theater of imagination. Sound can be illustration of news.
Week 6: Video news. Basics and examples.
Week 7: Video news in mobile journalism. Your smartphon is the best tool.
Week 8: Indyvidual discussions of projects.
Week 9: Promoting news in Facebook.
Week 10: Promoting news in Twitter and Instagram.
Week 11: Fake news.
Week 12: Preparing online news by mobile tools. Making indyvidual projects in native languages.
