Module aim (aims)
1. Drawing students' attention to the explanatory potential of research in everyday life
2. Broadening students' knowledge about the Soviet society, including its features that have persisted after the collapse of the Soviet Union
3. Tackling the stereotypes about the Soviet model of modernization in economic and social senses

Course learning content:
1. Beyond the Great Narrative. Introduction to Research on Everyday Life.
2. Living Own Comfort Life. Housing, Household Appliances, and Their Impact on Shaping Individualism.
3. Mass-produced but Homemade Tasting. Food Infrastructure and Organization of Nutrition.
4. Craving for Jeans. Clothing and the Birth of Soviet Consumer Culture.
5. 'We will avoid the Mistakes of the West' - Technoutopia Automotive City and Organization of Public Transport: Vision and Implementation.
6. Sexes and Time. Managing Leisure and Gender Inequality.
