Module aim (aims)
To develop the students’:
- knowledge in the history of literature of the Commonwealth;
- ability of critical analysis;
- ability of applying postcolonial methodologies to the analytical reading of literary and cultural texts.
Pre-requisites in terms of knowledge, skills and social competences (where relevant)
Strong reading proficiency in English and prior experience with literary analysis or literary studies coursework.
Syllabus
Course requirements:
- active participation in class discussion,
- obligatory attendance,
- a final written test.
