Module aim (aims)
The aim of the course is to equip students with the skills necessary to critically evaluate the reliability of information related to climate change. Upon completion of the course, students will be able to engage in evidence-based discussions on climate change and effectively address climate change denial.

Syllabus
During the course the causes and mechanisms of the current climate change will be presented in short (particular attention will be paid to differentiation between natural and anthropogenic causes of climate variability).
Future climate scenarios will be discussed base on the analysis of the IPCC report and case studies selected from this publiaction.
Basic "fake" theories and myths on the contemporary climate change will be reviewed and arguments oposing them will be discussed.
