Module aim (aims)
- To define the concept of social maladjustment, its causes and consequences
- To develop knowledge about the social maladjustment prevention system and its elements
- To present the school's tasks in counteracting social maladjustment
- To develop skills in analyzing and creating programs and lesson scenarios related to prevention issues
- To develop practical skills in the implementation of lesson scenarios in a group or primary school

Syllabus
Week 1. Introduction to the course
Week 2. Social maladjustment - definition overview, causes and consequences
Week 3. Social maladjustment prevention system
Week 4. Preventive tasks of the education system
Weeks 5-6. School-based prevention programs
Week 7. Teacher’s/educator’s preventive task
Weeks 8-9. Educational work with a child at risk of social maladjustment. Visit at primary school
Weeks 10-12. Preparing lesson scenarios - team work
Weeks 13-14. Implementation of lesson scenarios in a group or primary school
Week 15. Conclusion, feedback and assessment
