Module aim (aims)
The aim of the course Studies from Inside Out is to provide students with an in-depth understanding of academic studies by exploring them from internal perspectives, including learning processes, academic culture, and student experience. The course encourages critical reflection, intercultural awareness, and the development of analytical and communication skills through collaborative and interactive activities in an international online environment.
Pre-requisites in terms of knowledge, skills and social competences (where relevant)
The student is ready to work in a team, including in a multicultural environment.

0: Orientation - Understand course goals. Explanation of the course rules; become familiar with COIL structure; review expectations for intercultural collaboration.
1: Icebreaking & Teambuilding - Begin forming intercultural rapport; practice basic digital communication etiquette.
2 & 3: Comparison & Analysis - Analyse differences in academic etiquette, communication styles, and expectations across cultures.
4 & 5: Collaboration & Production - Develop a shared model of academic etiquette suitable for intercultural settings.
6: Presentation: Present collaborative outcomes professionally and respectfully.
7: Reflection & Project Closure - Reflect critically on intercultural learning and collaboration process.
