Alpine and Tourism Skiing

Timetable

30 h skiing practice during winter camp (or 30 h practical course ) 

15 h skiing rheory 

15h skiing tourism 

Module aim (aims)

Specific competencies to be achieved. Students will:1. Demonstrate basic technical skills of main skiing evolutions  2. Know main main rules concerning skiing  theory .3. Understand and be aware of positive effects of physical effort during training.4. Learn how to properly prepare organism to team sports training.5. Understand the basic rules to follow during skiing.6. Learn basic warm up and cool down stretching techniques.7. Learn about skiing history.8. Learn how to train properly in order to avoid injuries. 8. Learn how to operate skis  by main evolutions (wedge turn, stop, other basic skills)

Pre-requisites in terms of knowledge, skills and social competences (where relevant)

No special or unique skills required 

Syllabus

Students will learn: 

- demonstration basic alpine skiing techniques, wvolutions

- about skiing theory, slope rules, safety guard on the slope, 

- skisport theory 

- acquire knowledge about skiing tourism (main skiing resorts) 

- acquire knowledge about skiing regions and mountain tourism conditions
