Module aim (aims)

  1. Getting to know the key principles of group dynamics
  2. Developing the ability to effectively manage group dynamics in education and the workplace
  3. Developing the ability to recognize and cope with difficult situations in group work
  4. Developing skills to design original methods of group work

Pre-requisites in terms of knowledge, skills and social competences (where relevant)

Syllabus

1.  Key rules of group dynamics (roles, stages, standards, processes, relationships)

 

2.  Key aspects of managing group dynamics (management styles, work methods, innovations, group work workshops in education, creative rituals at work)

 

3. Types of group work dysfunctions (difficult situations, difficult group participants, the role of the leader, problem-solving strategies, recommendations for educators and managers)

 

4. Group work methods

 

5. Principles of designing an author's work workshop (exercises, creative work scenarios, worksheets, simulations, storytelling, digital tools)
