Module aim (aims)

The aim of this module is to equip students with advanced knowledge and practical skills in building 3D/XR environments as well as developing and training AI models within 3D/XR environments.

By the end of the course, students will be proficient in creating immersive 3D/XR simulators using platforms like Unity and Unreal Engine, and applying AI algorithms for model development and training. They will gain hands-on experience in building and optimizing AI models for autonomous vehicles, drones, and other simulated environments on 3D/XR platforms.  

Pre-requisites in terms of knowledge, skills and social competences (where relevant)

Students should possess a solid foundation in general computer and Internet usage. While the course is designed to cover advanced topics, it is also welcoming to those who are new to these areas but eager to begin their journey in AI and neural networks. Course projects and completion requirements will be tailored to accommodate the starting level, interests, and needs of each participant, ensuring a welcoming and supportive learning environment.
