Module aim (aims)

The aim of this module is to equip students with a comprehensive understanding and practical skills in the development and application of neural networks, large language models (LLMs), and generative AI as well as in generative AI for digital realities content development. 

By the end of the course, students will be proficient in building, training, optimizing, and deploying advanced AI models using state-of-the-art open-source tools and platforms as well as  students will be proficient in using state-of-the-art open-source tools and techniques to create 2D/3D graphics, videos, and 3D mesh models for 3D/XR solutions.

Pre-requisites in terms of knowledge, skills and social competences (where relevant)

Students should possess a solid foundation in general computer and Internet usage. While the course is designed to cover advanced topics, it is also welcoming to those who are new to these areas but eager to begin their journey in AI and neural networks. Course projects and completion requirements will be tailored to accommodate the starting level, interests, and needs of each participant, ensuring a welcoming and supportive learning environment.
