Module aim (aims)

The aim of this course is to familiarize students with the basic principles of social scientific research with human subjects as well as to introduce students to the current inclusive approaches to understanding the ethics of scientific research.

Topics:

1. Unconscious bias in communication and in conducting research.

2. The history of social scientific research with human subjects.

3. Basic principles of conducting research with human subjects: Part One. 

4. Basic principles of conducting research with human subjects: Part Two.

5. Basic principles of conducting research with human subjects: Part Three.

6. The unethical research and its consequences.

7. Social justice and inclusivity in conducting research with human subjects.
