Module aim (aims)

The course consists in workshops with strong emphasis on the acquisition of practical skills, which will help in the development of scientific career.

The specific aims include:

- specification of interests and creating a career plan

- finding of work/traineeship opportunities

- preperation of document for recruitment

- development of the communication/scientific communicaiton skills

- writing of team scientifc project

The participants will be evaluated on the basis of  five practical assessments.

Pre-requisites in terms of knowledge, skills and social competences (where relevant)

Syllabus

Week 1: Educational and career pathway.

Week 2: Personal education/career plan.

Week 3: Introduction to graphical design of documents.

Week 4: Writing CV and motivation letter.

Week 5: Introduction to communication.

Week 6: Scientific communication.

Week 7: Scientific posters.

Week 8: Article Writing.

Week 9: Introduction to team work and project writing.

Week 10: Presentation of projects.
