Timetable
- The first meeting will take place in person in the computer lab in the building of the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science.
- Students will complete the course materials during the semester remotely and asynchronously on an external interactive learning platform that monitors their progress; details will be provided during the first meeting.
- The final exam will take place at the end of the semester in person in the computer lab in the building of the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science.
Module aim (aims)
The course aims to provide competencies in Linux system administration, focusing on fundamental administrative tasks. It also serves as a foundation for individuals planning to become full-time Linux system administrators, introducing key concepts of command-line operations and enterprise-level tools. The course is designed for individuals with no prior experience in Linux system administration.
Pre-requisites in terms of knowledge, skills and social competences (where relevant)
To participate in the course, creating an account on the external Red Hat Academy platform will be required.
