Module aim (aims)
- The Product Management in practice course is designed to equip cognitive science students with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in a product management role.
- The course aims to provide a deep understanding of Clayton Christensen's concept of disruptive innovation and teach how to recognize potential disruptive opportunities.
- Students will have a chance to apply their knowledge in practice and work on their own product throughout the term.

- Key roles and responsibilities of Product Managers. Product Management and other digital roles.
- Understanding the product development process
- Clayton Christensen's disruptive innovation theory
- Product ideation & validation
- Product Spec document, the MVP concept & user stories
- Prototyping and user testing
- Prioritisation and roadmapping
- Succeeding with product development methodologies, such as Agile and Scrum
- Understanding the product lifecycle
