Module aim (aims)

  1. Transfer of knowledge regarding principles of occupational safety and hygiene during eye-tracking experiments.
  2. Transfer of knowledge regarding the preparation and conduct of eye-tracking research, as well as the analysis and interpretation of obtained data.
  3. Provision of practical skills in using tools necessary for preparing eye-tracking experiments for academic and non-academic purposes.
  4. Transfer of knowledge regarding open-source licenses of computer software useful for creating and conducting eye-tracking experiments.

Pre-requisites in terms of knowledge, skills and social competences (where relevant)

Syllabus

  1. Providing knowledge on occupational health and safety principles during an eye-tracking experiment.
  2. Providing knowledge in the field of preparing and conducting eye tracking research, as well as analyzing and interpreting the received data.
  3. Providing practical skills in using the tools needed to prepare an eye-tracking experiment for academic and non-academic purposes.
  4. Providing knowledge in the field of open software licenses computer useful for creating and conducting an eye-tracking experiment
  5. Knowledge of using the SPSS statistical data analysis program aimed at conducting statistical analysis of the obtained digital data in order to interpret these results.
  6. Finally, preparation of a presentation, poster and report on the experiment and the results obtained.
