Module aim (aims)
After completing of course student:
- can read many handwritten texts from older epochs,
- understands the role of writing for European culture,
- knows the basic terminology used in paleography,
- knows the history of devoloping of the Latin alphabet,
- understand the importance of "auxiliary sciences" for research
Pre-requisites in terms of knowledge, skills and social competences (where relevant)
Wished, but not necessary a basic knowledge of Latin
