Meetings take place in the didactic building at Międzychodzka Street no 5 (room 411).

Module aim (aims)

The course invites its participants to capture the health situation of transgender and gender diverse population. It aims:

Pre-requisites in terms of knowledge, skills and social competences (where relevant)

It is assumed that students understand English at FCE/B2 level. Basic psychological knowledge will be useful to comprehend discussed issues.

Week 3: Minority Stress and Mental Health

Week 4: Health of TGD Population

Week 5-6: Gender incongruence in childhood, adolescence and adulthood

Week 7: Gender dysphoria

Week 8 & 9: Gender-affirming medical treatment

Week 10: Psychological assessment of capacity to consent

Week 11 & 12: Rights of TGD people and access to transition across the countries

Week 13: The minority strengths model

Week 14: Psycho-sexological help dedicated to TGD people
