Module aim (aims)
- learn how to structure a presentation and use signposting phrases
- learn how to achieve the goal of a presentation using visuals, persuasive techniques, humour and body language
- learn to present oneself strongly
- learn how to deal with difficult situations, particularly during a discussion
- learn how to control stress
- learn to use and evaluate AI support

Week 1: Participants’ needs analysis. The idea of humour.
Week 2: Unusual ways of introducing oneself. Proposed presentation model.
Week 3: Presentation structure. The Introduction.
Week 4: Presentation structure. AI support.
Week 5: The idea of linguistic humour in presentations.
Week 6: Purposeful use of linguistic humour in presentations.
Week 7: Incongruity in students’ slides with humour. Concluding a presentation.
Week 8: Incongruity in students’ slides with humour. Handling questions.
Week 9: The presentation model.
Week 10: The power of body language.
Week 11: Unique oral and visual delivery of the message.
Week 12: Students’ Presentations. Boundaries of humour in presentations.
Week 13: Students’ presentations. Secrets of creativity.
Week 14: Students’ presentations. Presenters’ strong sides.
Week 15: Course review. A topic suggested by participants.
