Module aim (aims)
C1 | To familiarise students with the content of selected books and passages in the field of biblical literature. |
C2 | To make students aware of the basic methodology and terminology of biblical studies (traditions of the text, canons, exegetical methods, apocrypha, pseudepigrapha etc.). |
C3 | To provide students with knowledge of the origins of the Old Testament and Judaism. |
C4 | To provide students with knowledge of the origins of Christianity in its dual - Judaic and Greco-Roman context. |
C5 | To familiarise the student with the different types of biblical narrative (genre diversity, plot patterns, character creation strategies, etc.). |
