Timetable
One lecture per week and one lab classes per week (20h lectures + 40h lab classes - 2 groups).
Detailed schedule will be presented on the Faculty of Biology website before start of the semester.
Module aim (aims)
To familiarize students with bases of structure and function of animal and human organism
To familiarize students with mechanisms of interactions between cells, tissues and organs of the animal and human body
To prepare students to design and make simple scientific experiments
To prepare of students to interpretation of the research results and writing short scientific reports
To provide knowledge on health and safety rules in the laboratory of physiology
Pre-requisites in terms of knowledge, skills and social competences (where relevant)
Basic knowledge in biochemistry and cell biology
