Module aim (aims)
The main aims:
- dedescribe current issues and trends in education
- demonstrate a basic knowledge of the principles of school education, educational system, education, knowledge, LLL process and others
- scribe the central concepts of education and society
- apply these principles and concepts to comparative analysis of educational practices and policies
- formulate a general understanding of the Polish educational system and other, its characteristics and objectives
- reflect on practical experiences, such as observation in Polish schools and/or preschools, and compare the functioning of these institutions to similar entities in other countries.

Pre-requisites in terms of knowledge, skills and social competences (where relevant)
The subject is dedicated to the students interested in educational field.
The english skills B1 and above (reading articles, speaking and writting).
Extra time to visit primary school and sport school in Poznań and outside the city (the date to be determined).
Social competences:
- group work (knowing how it works and be ready to do it),
- brain storm (knowing how it works and be ready to do it),
- ability to deliver a presentation in front of the classmates,
- high level of personal culture and knowledge about the world and societies,
- entrepreneurship,
- focus on the implementation of a set objective.
