- to encourage critical thinking and the ability to express opinions effectively

- to promote cultural understanding by discussing global topics and diverse perspectives

- to develop the capacity to construct persuasive arguments and engage in meaningful debates in English

- to improve overall communication skills, including listening, speaking, and interaction in English
