Module aim (aims)

The aim of the course is to preparate students to lead tourist services, especially to organize excursions, in Poland. Students learn about accommodation, food and transport services. Also learn the principles of programming, preparation, sales and leading tourist events. Within the project students prepare a package of tours to Poland.

Pre-requisites in terms of knowledge, skills and social competences (where relevant)

Basic knowledge about Poland and tourist geography of Poland.

Syllabus

Week 1 lecture 3 h: Tourist migration in and to Poland, basic tourist services terminology
Week 2 lecture 2 h: the most import ant tourist attraction of Poland, the system of tourist information in Polandpractical classes 2 h: tourist attraction of Poland 1
