Module aim (aims)
Assimilation of basic structures and vocabulary in French language used for communication in daily situations development of four language skills, especially listening and speaking on level A1 acquiring culture information about French people and country; comparing it with other cultures
Pre-requisites in terms of knowledge, skills and social competences (where relevant)
The course is dedicated for beginners, students who dont know french and who are interested in discovering french language and culture.
Week 1 : Introduction (introduce yourself, introduce your friend, ABC)
Week 2: Meeting People, Asking the questions and sharing personal information,
Week 3: Numbers and Colours, (how to calculate, bunch of colours)
Week 4: Time and Hours
Week 5: Seasons of the year, months of the year and the days of the week (current date)
Week 6: Meeting People (asking simple questions who, where, how, how much, when, why)
Week 7: Family Members (introduce your family)
Week 8: Hobby and Interests (express your likes)
Week 9: Appearance description (how you look like),
Week 10: Character features (describe yourself)
Week 11: Feeling and mood: sad, being hungry, thirsty, cold...
Week 12: French Music (History, Famous French Singers and Musicians)
Week 13: Christmas and festive period, Tradition
Week 14: Repetition and Review
Week 15: Evaluation Test
